I needed to get on HF band and start making contacts quickly and stealthy. So I picked up 100ft 12 gauge speaker wire from local electronics store, and a 9-1 LDG unun.
I cut 65 ft and used it the conductive element, and used 25 ft as my counterpoise.

I only needed to hang the wire along my side and back fence. While the counterpoise is laying on the ground.

When I tested this using MFJ antenna tester, I was getting SWR between 1.3 and 2.6 on 10meter, 15meter, 17meter, 20meter and 40meter.
SWR of less than 3.0 was good enough for my Icom IC-7300 internal tuner to tune to each band.
Using this basic setup I was able to make contacts with stations from Florida, Alabama, Colorado, British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, New York, Missouri amongst other places across North America.
